Kristen Seymore: Co-President

Kristen Seymore serves as Co‑Chair of the Foundation for Wallingford-Swarthmore Schools, bringing a background in government affairs and community partnership work. As Founder and Principal of KP Public Strategies, she has extensive experience building collaborative relationships across public, private, and institutional stakeholders. Kristen is committed to strengthening the Foundation’s nearly two‑decade legacy, expanding engagement with new families, and advancing districtwide initiatives. Kristen’s daughter Claire is a proud student in the district. Her husband, Chris, is a dedicated public‑school teacher in a neighboring district, making education a true family calling. Their shared commitment to public schools fuels Kristen’s work to ensure every student in WSSD has opportunities to thrive.

Quincy Carpenter: Co-President

Quincy Carpenter is a local artist, educator, and active community member of Swarthmore since 2012. Quincy aspires to forge community connections with creativity and enthusiasm. She is the art teacher and librarian at The Walden School, and has taught a variety of workshops and classes at the Community Arts Center and The Creative Living Room. Quincy also serves as a board member for the Swarthmore Public Library. Driven by a commitment to sustainability, Quincy brings her deep love for nature to life through her creative projects. She is an avid traveler and loves a good hike, especially when waterfalls are involved. Quincy and her husband, Shane, have two daughters, Clara and Alden, who attend Strath Haven Middle School.
