The Strath Haven High School Home and School Association

The Strath Haven High School Home and School Association (SHHS HSA) is a partnership between parents/guardians and teachers committed to the education and positive school experience of our children. All high school parents/guardians are considered members of this organization, and are encouraged to get involved in the fostering of a strong community between home and school. Direct donations made via check payable to SHHS HSA (please note “direct donation” on memo line) can be mailed to:

The Silvertones

Founded in 1985, the Silvertones are a select voice a cappella group of singers from Strath Haven High School specializing in small ensemble music. The Silvertones have a busy rehearsal and performance calendar, and are available to perform for any event. The group has performed for the State and All-Eastern conferences, along with a variety of sporting and social events, and embarks on a performance tour of select cities in Europe every other year.

Classes of 2026 & 2027 Senior Celebration Committees

The Class of 2026 seniors’ parent representatives work with the current junior class and SHHS teacher representatives to help plan their After Prom party. The committee works throughout the four years of high school to raise funds to plan, operate, and oversee the After Prom, which takes place in the SHHS gym. The After Prom is open to all students who attend the prom and also to seniors who choose not to go to prom. The party includes raffle items, a DJ, dancing, food, and fun activities for the kids. The purpose of the After Prom is to provide a safe and fun environment for the kids to enjoy together after the official senior prom.

ASK: Alumni and friends Supporting Kids

Alumni and friends Supporting Kids provides WSSD students in need with financial help for the “extras” – from sports camps, to music lessons, to prom costs, to calculators.
