You can support a number of our fiscal partners through direction donations on this site. Your tax deductible donations through the Foundation go directly to our fiscal partners. It’s a great way to support these amazing groups associated with the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.
We’re excited to help support the following organizations for the 2015 – 2016 school year:
The Strath Haven High School Home and School Association
The Strath Haven High School Home and School Association was initiated as a forum for parents and guardians to learn more about the academics, extracurricular activities, and social life at Strath Haven High School and for the administration to seek informal input on school issues related to those aspects of school and community lives. The Strath Haven High School Home and School Association is organized and operated to foster the education of the Strath High School students and contribute to a positive school community. Please visit their wish list page for more information about specific needs. Direct donations made via check payable to SHHS HSA (please note “direct donation” on memo line) may be mailed to:

Panthers for Panels
We are parents, students, teachers, and residents of the Wallingford Swarthmore School District, who are concerned about climate change. We want to take the first step towards reducing our dependency on fossil fuels by raising the funds to purchase and install solar panels on our snack bar, the Panther Pit. The money will be used to install 23 panels on the roof and provide interactive ground level educational as well. Our goal is to raise the money, and install the panels in time to run the snack bar on solar power for the 2017 football season. Please visit our GoFundMe web page to make a donation.
The Silvertones
Founded in 1985, the Silvertones is a select 37-voice a capella group of singers from Strath Haven High School in Wallingford, PA, specializing in small ensemble music. The Silvertones have a busy rehearsal and performance calendar, and are available to perform for any event. The group has performed for the State and All-Eastern conferences, as well as a variety of sporting and social events, and embarks on a performance tour of select cities in Italy every other year.
Seeds for Success
The WSSD Community Garden was proposed by Strath Haven High School principal Dr. MaryJo Yannacone, Ed.D. as a means of developing the students and staff of Strath Haven High School as members of a community dedicated to environmental education, interdisciplinary studies, the arts, and inclusivity of all segments of the educational landscape. We are seeking funding sources for our Community Garden, and are very appreciative of the WSSD Educational Foundation for helping us to bring our vision forward!
