The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania gives corporations the opportunity to give back to the local community at very little cost to the business. The Foundation for Wallingford-Swarthmore Schools is an approved organization under the EITC program.
From 75% to 90% of every dollar contributed to the EITC Program is a direct deduction from the business’s taxable income. Eligible companies may take up to $300,000 in tax credits per year. For more information on this program, please visit www.NewPA.com/eitc.
For more information on how to donate to the Foundation under this program contact us today.
The EITC program, however, will only disperse $20 million for the 2011-2012 school year and the program is always oversubscribed. Tax credits are given on a first-come basis—businesses must apply on Thursday, July 1, 2011!
